You Can Have Your Iftar in the Sky for $18,000

Is this even real?

Ramadan might be the month of humility but that apparently doesn’t stop the most lavish of us from splurging. That’s what global private aviation company Jetex is hoping, at least.

The Dubai-based company is offering iftars in the sky for a whopping $17,969. Yes, a chauffeur will of course escort to the private jet in a Rolls Royce. Available for UAE residents and visitors only, the ultra-expensive iftar is catered by Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts and served on the jet with all safety measures in mind, of course.

The flight will first head towards Abu Dhabi, then Al Ain and the Hajjar Mountains in the east. As you enjoy what is probably the world’s most exclusive meal, you’ll be enjoying staggering view of Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the UAE, and the Hatta mountains. Flying over the Arabian Sea and Fujairah, the journey will continue towards Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman and Sharjah

And for a grand finale, you will end your iftar with a majestic view over Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, Burj Khalifa, the Palm Jumeirah and The World Islands. Upon landing back at the Jetex VIP Terminal, you can also spend the rest of your dream-like evening in a luxurious lounge at the terminal.

For a minor plot twist, the company will be donating 10 percent of all proceeds from the experience to the Dubai Cares charity. Will you be up for the Iftar in the Sky?
